You have dead projects. Most builders do, usually several. Saying so out loud feels like admitting something, so instead the domain lapses, the repo goes private, and months of your work leave without a word.
Marketplaces for abandoned projects have existed for a decade and stayed small. Nobody visits a listings table, nobody shares one, and nobody feels anything looking at one.
A funeral is different. You get to say the thing out loud, in public, with a joke on the stone — and other people get to stand around and nod, because they have buried a few themselves. You come to grieve, they come to watch, the flowers pay for the grounds, and the buying layer switches itself on once there is a crowd.
We are the opposite of TrustMRR. They run the marketplace of success; we run the marketplace of failure. When the flowers pass our first $1,000 we will list ourselves there, and the joke completes itself.
